■ Richmond resident Mary Ousley will be receiving the American Health Care Association's prestigious Friend of Quality Award. The award will be presented at the closing general session of AHCA/NCAL's 62nd Annual Convention & Expo on September 21 in Las Vegas.

Janie Olmstead, owner of Images Model & Talent Agency, Lexington, was recently honored at the IMTA (International Modeling & Talent Association) convention's 25th year anniversary celebration in New York City. Ms. Olmstead was one of four founding IMTA members who have successfully participated for the past 25 years.

The University of Kentucky College of Agriculture's Department of Animal and Food Sciences has inducted Dr. Pearse Lyons, the founder and president of global animal health company Alltech, into its Hall of Fame.
