Fifth Third Bank plans to once again try to install its new signage on Lexington's tallest building on Sunday. The company attempted to install the signs, which each weigh 10,000 pounds, last weekend, but high winds prevented the work from taking place.
As a safety measure, the crews are avoiding weekdays and any days during which there are large downtown events, such as a University of Kentucky men's basketball game, said Fifth Third spokesman Brant Welch.
It will be the first time the signs have changed since Fifth Third moved into the building in 1996.
