Shaker Village names new chairwoman, board members

Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill added three new members to the board of trustees and selected a new chairwoman.

Liz Kennan Burns of Danville was named chairwoman, succeeding Jim Kenan as head of the board. G. Watts Humphrey was named vice president.

The new board members are: Anne Miller Arensberg of Louisville, a consultant with the Kentucky Natural Lands Trust; Harriet Dupree Bradley of Lexington, owner of Dupree Catering and Events; and Lois Mateus of Harrodsburg, a former Brown-Forman senior vice president who was responsible for the restoration of Woodford Reserve Distillery in Woodford County.
