The Lexington Woman's Club will meet at 10 a.m. Dec. 6 at the Lexington Club on Esplanade. The club will have a special presentation by Jeffrey S. Suchanek and his wife, Jeanne Ontko Suchanek, authors of Star-Spangled Hearts: American Women Veterans of World War II. The book honors 20 women from Kentucky who served their country during WWII, including the club's Helen Evans.
