Forcht Bank names Tucker Ballinger president

Lexington-based Forcht Bank has named Tucker Ballinger its new president. Ballinger had served as executive vice president at Forcht since August.

Before joining Forcht Bank, Ballinger was a senior vice president, regional retail manager for Republic Bank and Trust Co.

Ballinger, who lives in Lexington and is a graduate of Georgetown College, serves as an executive board member of Commerce Lexington and is the current chair of the Business and Education Network. He also serves on the board of the American Red Cross Bluegrass Chapter.

Forcht is a community bank with 35 locations in Fayette and 10 other Kentucky counties. The bank says it has nearly $1 billion in assets and is the 11th-largest bank based in the state based on deposit market share.
