Cable television operator Insight Communications said Friday it has reached a final agreement with Sinclair Broadcasting to continue to deliver Sinclair's WDKY (Channel 56) to Insight customers.
"Both companies decided to put customers first by avoiding an interruption in programming and signed a deal that will guarantee continued carriage," said a statement released by Insight chief executive Michael Willner.
Insight, Lexington's cable TV provider, and Sinclair had announced an agreement in principle Dec. 14. The two companies said then that they were "in the process of confirming our verbal agreement in writing."
Issues included broadcast fees.
