Campbellsville University: Joe Owens, senior pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Lexington, has been named chairman of the university's board of trustees.
Fifth Third Bank: Dan Crockett, investment executive; Chad Rudzik, investment adviser; Tim Sprague, treasury management; and Joel Stone, investment adviser, have been promoted to vice presidents. Chad Kobes, financial center manager, and Camden Skidmore, business banking, have been named assistant vice presidents. Angela Jones, financial center manager, has been named an officer.
Morgan Keegan & Co.: Bob Pennington, a fixed income investment banker in the firm's Lexington office, has been elected managing director.
State Higher Education Executive Officers: Bob King, president of the Council on Postsecondary Education, has been elected to the executive committee of the non-profit, nationwide association, based in Boulder, Colo. The executive committee is the governing board for the association. King is in his fourth year as Kentucky's higher education chief. His term on the association's executive committee runs through September 2013.
Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government: Rodney Ballard has been named director of the division of community corrections. He previously served as deputy commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Corrections, where he had oversight of probation and parole and inspections of county jails statewide.
