If you want to go to the Kentucky Derby or Oaks, get your tickets now: the walk-up price for standing-room only general admission is going up to $50 for the Derby and $30 for the Oaks. But advance tickets are $40 and $25, respectively, at the on-track box office at Churchill Downs, at Gate 1, beginning Wednesday.

Some tickets also are available, through Friday, for limited seating in Section 125, which includes food in the Infield Club, for either the Oaks or the Derby. For more information and prices, go to ChurchillDowns.com/tickets.

For its spring meet opener on April 28, Churchill Downs is bringing back "Opening Night," the track's popular night-racing party that drew record crowds last year.
