Community Trust Bancorp said Wednesday that it earned $10.2 million, or 66 cents a share, during the third quarter. The Pikeville-based bank company said earnings were down slightly from $10.7 million, or 70 cents a share, in the third quarter of 2011.
The company said net interest and non-interest income fell slightly year over year. On a brighter note, though, the company said its non-performing loans fell $3.5 million to $34 million compared to the third quarter of 2011.
The Pikeville-based company operates 71 banking branches in Kentucky, six in West Virginia and four in Tennessee.
