Kentucky Bar Association: Three Frost Brown Todd attorneys have been elected to one-year terms on the KBA's Taxation Section. Daniel Mudd, an associate in Frost Brown Todd's regional state tax and incentives team, has been named chair of the section. Chris Coffman, a member in the firm's tax law practice group, has been named chair-elect. Jon Powers, an associate who concentrates his practice in tax controversy, executive compensation and non-profit organizations, has been named vice chair.
Environmental Health Committee of the National Association of County and City Health Officials: Sheila Pressley, associate professor in Eastern Kentucky University's Department of Environmental Health Science and chair of the university's Faculty Senate, has been appointed to the committee and will serve a two-year term. The nation's 2,700 local health departments comprise the membership of NACCHO.
Arbor Youth Services: Stephanie Spires has been named executive director. Arbor Youth Services provides safe alternatives for at-risk children, youth and their families through services and referrals that promote positive growth and development.
Buffets Inc.: Chip Romp, a former vice president at Fazoli's, has been named vice president of training for the steak-buffet restaurant company, which includes Ryan's.
The Speed Art Museum: Ghislain d'Humières has been named director of the museum, effective Sept. 3. D'Humières is now director of Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art at the University of Oklahoma.
