Nikki Cain


Eastern Kentucky University: Matt Roan, currently the President's Council Fellow and Deputy Director of Athletics at Southern Utah University, has been named Special Assistant to the President at EKU. He will assume his responsibilities Oct. 1. Roan earned a juris doctorate degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2012 after graduating summa cum laude in political science in 2007.


Enderle & Co.: Jennifer Walters has been named firm administrator, responsible for coordinating all aspects of daily business at the firm.

Fifth Third Bank: Tyler Gossett has been promoted to the position of area sales manager for the mortgage lending department. Nikki Cain has joined the bank as a membership banking officer.

Health care

Baptist Health: Dr. Timothy Jahn has been named Baptist Health's chief clinical officer effective Nov. 4. Jahn currently serves as system chief medical officer for Abrazo Health, a six-hospital system in Phoenix, owned and operated by Vanguard Health Systems.


Gess Mattingly & Atchison: Ross T. Ewing and Stefan J. Bing have joined the firm as associates. Ewing, formerly with Ross Ewing LLC, practices in the areas of family law, estate planning and probate. Bing is a former law clerk to Deputy Chief Justice Mary C. Noble of the Kentucky Supreme Court. His primary practice areas include commercial and civil litigation, probate and appellate litigation.

Thompson Coburn: Partner Ray Stewart has joined the management committee of the Washington, D.C., firm. Stewart's practice focuses on corporate and securities, government contracts and tax issues. Both an attorney and a CPA, Stewart earned his juris doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
