■ Clark Material Handling Co. has released its company app for the Americas. This app allows salespeople and customers to access information on Clark products and services with any IOS or Android device. Information on products, financial merchandising and a company overview can be found on the app. Additionally, users will be able to locate a dealer and request follow-up contact through the app. The app was designed in-house, giving Clark the ability to update and modify when needed to make sure users of the app have the most current information. The app can be found by searching Clark in the app store on IOS devices or in Google play for Android devices.
■ Four of the eight Central Kentucky S&S Tire & Auto Service Centers have been purchased by Monro Muffler Brake of Rochester, N.Y., including the locations in Millpond, Hamburg, Eastland and Georgetown. The other four Central Kentucky S&S Tire & Auto Service Centers, 3070 Fieldstone Way and 2629 Richmond Road in Lexington and 500 East Brannon Road and 100 Peachtree in Nicholasville, continue to be locally owned and operated. Beaumont and Brannon Crossing locations are owned and operated by Ron and Jodi Shade; Richmond Road by Kent Marshall; and Nicholasville by Karen Spurlock.
The four corporate locations purchased by Monro will operate as Ken Towery Tire & Auto Centers. Monro acquired the Ken Towery's Tire & Auto Service business and trade name in December 2012.
