The Urban-County Government will have two public hearings next week on Time Warner Cable’s franchise in the city. The purpose of the hearings is to identify community needs and interests, and review the performance of Time Warner Cable, which has been the dominant cable television provider in Lexington since it bought Insight Communications last year. All interested parties will be given an opportunity to speak at the hearings. The meetings will be:
- 6 p.m. Monday, second-floor Council Chambers at Urban County Government Center, 200 East Main Street.
