Forgot to turn off the lights? Want to see what the cat does while you're away? Time Warner Cable has launched IntelligentHome service in Lexington, Owensboro and Richmond, and in Terre Haute, Ind., and Clarksburg, W.Va.
The wireless home management and security system lets customers remotely access and control home security settings, lighting and thermostats and view real-time video of their home from a PC or mobile device.
The service requires Time Warner Cable's Internet service, and, when bundled with cable TV and-or phone service, IntelligentHome is available for $33.99 a month, TWC said in a news release.
