Kentucky Bank: Justin Carroll has been named assistant vice president small business, mortgage lender. Carroll is a graduate of Woodford County High School and Eastern Kentucky University and lives in Versailles.

Traditional Bank: Carter D. Offutt has been promoted to commercial loan officer at the bank's Palumbo Drive Banking Center.

Health care

Lexington Clinic: Dr. Regina McDaniels-Brock has joined the Lexington Clinic Richmond Family Medicine Department. She is board-certified in family medicine.


Dinsmore & Shohl: Anthony F. Bonner, Jr. has been named partner. Bonner practices out of the firm's Lexington office and is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Department.


Aviation Museum of Kentucky: Gerry van der Meer, president of the Aviation Museum of Kentucky since 2012, has been named director of development of the museum. In the development role, van der Meer will continue his association with the museum and address the continuing successful operation of the museum.

The Kentucky Distillers' Association: Joe Fraser, vice president of operations with Heaven Hill Distilleries, has been named chairman of the 134-year-old group that promotes and protects the commonwealth's signature Bourbon and distilled spirits industry. He will serve through December. The Board also appointed Andrea Wilson, director of whiskey strategy for Diageo North America, as vice chairman and Chris Morris, master distiller at Brown-Forman Corp., as secretary-treasurer. Other Board members for 2014 include: John Rhea, chief operating officer, Four Roses Distillery; Rob Samuels, chief operating officer, Maker's Mark; and Rick Robinson, plant director, Wild Turkey.

VisitLEX: Mary Quinn Ramer has been promoted to vice president of marketing. John Pohl has been promoted to director of sports and equine sales. Courtney Brown has joined the staff as an accountant. Jodi Massey has been named destination sales account executive.


Blue Grass Energy: Doug Fritz, Paint Lick, has been named director for District 3. He fills the remaining term of former director E.A. "Ned" Gilbert. Fritz is recently retired from Central Bank & Trust Co.

Columbia Gas of Kentucky: Lisa F. Smith has been promoted to director of communications and community relations. Smith has been with Columbia Gas of Kentucky since 1996 and most recently served as communications manager for the utility.

The Hamilton-Ryker Co.: Ydaisa Gomez has joined the staffing company as bilingual staffing coordinator for the Lexington branch office. Born in Puerto Rico, raised in the Dominican Republic, Ydaisa moved to Lexington in 1992. She has earned a BA in psychology from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Midway College.
