Kentucky Community and Technical College System: Greg Hiles has been named marketing manager for the Kentucky Coal Academy, which provides training at four KCTCS colleges for new and incumbent miners. Hannah Hodges has been named manager of governmental affairs. Before joining KCTCS, Hodges was a legal writer for McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie and Kirkland and served as an attorney at the Peter Perlman Law Office.

Finance

Central Bank: Mark Ruddell has joined the bank as vice president, private banking.

BB&T Scott & Stringfellow: T. Logan Davis and J. Tyson Davis have joined the firm's Lexington office practicing as The Davis Group of BB&T Scott & Stringfellow. Logan Davis has been named senior vice president and financial adviser. Tyson Davis has joined the firm as a financial adviser.

Organizations

Online Computer Library Center: Kathleen Imhoff has been designated as trustee emeritus of the board of trustees after her 16 years of service to the organization, including six years on the board of trustees. The center is a worldwide computer library service and research organization composed of 74,000 member libraries in 170 countries.

American College of Surgeons: Dr. J. David Richardson, professor of surgery and vice chairman of the Dr. Hiram C. Polk Jr. Department of Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, has been named president-elect.

Buckhorn Children & Family Services: The Rev. Ricky Creech has been named president and chief executive officer for the organization, which helps children and families in Kentucky receive trauma-sensitive services that address psychiatric, foster care, adoption and family preservation needs.

Law

Henry Watz Raine & Marino: Meredith K. Schuh has joined the firm as an associate. Her primary areas of practice are civil litigation, employment and family law.

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer: Allison Eastland has joined the law firm's Lexington office as an associate. Eastland spent 10 years as a felony prosecutor in Chicago and Atlanta before moving home to Lexington, where she practiced as assistant commonwealth's attorney before joining QPWB.

Clark Material Handing Co.: Dale Guckian has been promoted to product support manager, responsible for overseeing the service engineering, warranty, product service, training and customer service departments.
