■ Indianapolis-based, Sagamore Home Mortgage has opened a "quad-lingual" mortgage bank at 111 Cheapside Park, in downtown Lexington. Jeff and Olga Willis, previously co-managers for Charlotte-based Empire Equity, will manage the office. Jeff Willis is branch manager and Olga Willis is director of branch operations.

"We recognized an acute need for FHA, 203(k) rehabilitation loans," Jeff Willis said. "We are specialized in this type loan. We'll be able to present it in four languages: English, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese."

Joining Sagamore will be Fabricio Silva, who is fluent in Portuguese. He will be the branch's second Spanish speaker.

Olga Willis, a native of Russia, sees 203(k) loans as "the key to returning much of downtown Lexington, especially the north side, to her Victorian splendor."

Frank Beach, recently promoted to president, added, "There are many internationals who qualify for FHA loans but don't apply, simply because they don't know that they are eligible."
