St. Louis-based Provision Living announced this week that a new $18 million personal care and memory care community is under construction at Beaumont Centre. The 88,000-square-foot property is being built at 1165 Monarch Street.

This will be Provision’s first care center in Lexington. It will have 104 apartments, including 31 in a memory care secure neighborhood, according to Barry Brinegar, community relations manager.

Apartments will include deluxe studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom options, with a range of services from no personal care to on-site 24-hour nursing, Brinegar said. Pricing was not immediately available. Brinegar can be reached at 859-202-1357.

Construction began in December, and the complex is expected to open next spring, according to a news release. The community “will offer dedicated memory care neighborhoods with access to a family-support coordinator, an elder care consultant whose primary role is to serve as a personal adviser, and single point-of-contact for families,” according to the news release.

Provision Living’s Family Connect service provides experts to assess needs, connect families to local services and resources, and develop a care plan for those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
