WealthSouth: Timothy Yessin has joined the Lexington office as vice president, wealth management adviser.

Blue & Co.: Miranda Aavatsmark and Dominique Waits have been promoted to manager. Joseph Duruttya has been promoted to senior accountant. Brenda Begley has been promoted to senior accounting specialist.

Stoll Keenon Ogden: Walter R. Byrne has been elected as a member in the firm’s Lexington office. His legal career spans more than three decades and includes representing banks and financial institutions in Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee.

North Limestone Community Development Corp.: Grant Phelps has been named president and chief executive officer position for the nonprofit that has facilitated investment in the North Limestone area of Lexington, served as an advocate for local community issues and been an implementation tool for neighborhood needs and desires.

Keeneland: Robert N. Elliston, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Breeders’ Cup Limited since 2012, has joined the Thoroughbred race track and sales company as vice president of racing and sales.
