A quick-hitting light snow maker zips across the region early Tuesday, said WKYT chief meteorologist Chris Bailey. It can drop some light accumulations as thermometers drop all day long.
The radar to the northwest won’t look very impressive, with the light snow and snow showers developing on top of the region Tuesday morning, Bailey said. Northwesterly winds will then kick in, helping fuel some additional snow showers across Eastern Kentucky.
The snow may only cover the ground for some areas. But, these smaller systems can sometimes have a big impact on traffic.
It's the first of three snow makers possible this work week. More of the forecast on Bailey's blog.
