Man and juvenile are accused of two Saturday afternoon robberies

A Lexington man and a juvenile are facing robbery charges after police said they robbed two people Saturday afternoon.

Denzell J. Manning, 20, and the juvenile, whom police did not identify, are charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree fleeing and evading police.

Police were called at 4:05 p.m. for an attempted robbery at 249 East Reynolds Road. Officers were called to 3501 Laredo Drive at 4:19 p.m. for another robbery. Descriptions of the suspects in both robberies were similar.

Manning and the juvenile were arrested a short time later, police said.
