Thousandsticks: State police are investigating a case in which someone threw a homemade bomb through the window of a home in the Thousandsticks community of Leslie County early Saturday.
At 4:01 a.m., state police were called to the home of Kermit D. Davidson at 1766 Davidson Fork Road after someone threw a rock through the window, then tossed a Molotov cocktail in, according to a news release.
The bomb didn't explode, but it did start a small fire that was put out by the homeowner, state police said.
Two people inside the house were not injured.

A man was seen leaving on an ATV, but because it was dark, the witness did not get a description of him.
But while there, state police did arrest a neighbor on an outstanding warrant. The neighbor, who was not identified, had come over to check on the situation.
