Jamestown man critically injured in fire

A Jamestown man suffered second- and third-degree burns in a fire Sunday at his house.

Kentucky State Police arson investigator Alex Wesley is investigating the fire at 33 Scholl Street in Jamestown that injured the homeowner, Lyle Hawkins. Hawkins was listed in critical condition Monday at the Vanderbilt Burn Center in Nashville.

The cause of the fire is unknown, but state police said no foul play is suspected.
