A former Morehead State University student who was indicted on child pornography charges earlier this month turned himself in to police late last week.
Eric LeMaster, 21, of Staffordsville was indicted on Feb. 17 by a Rowan County grand jury on one count of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and one count of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, according to a news release from Attorney General Jack Conway's cybercrimes unit.
The charges against LeMaster followed an undercover investigation that started Jan. 23 by the cybercrimes unit, the news release said. A search warrant was executed Jan. 31 at LeMaster's residence at Morehead State.
He was released from the Rowan County jail after posting bail.
