The body of a man who disappeared from his backyard in Garrard County on Friday afternoon was pulled from Herrington Lake on Saturday.
James Obradavich, 62, apparently fell over an embankment and into the lake, said Garrard County Coroner Daryl Hodge.
Obradavich's wife said she last saw him in their backyard on Bryant's Camp Road near the lake at about 2 p.m. Friday, and when he hadn't come in by about 4 p.m., she called for help.
Crews initially did a ground search, then put boats in the water Friday evening, Hodge said. He said the search was called off in the early morning hours Saturday, then resumed at about 10 a.m. Saturday.
