LEXINGTON — Police have not yet released the identity of a man killed in a single-car accident on I-75 on Sunday.
The man was driving northbound on I-75 near the 119-mile marker when Lexington police believe that the 1994 Ford Mustang hydroplaned off the roadway and hit a tree. Lexington police say the male driver was taken to University of Kentucky Medical Center, where he later died.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, Lexington police said. The man's name will be released after his family members have been notified, police said.
