Yard waste collected by the city's Division of Waste Management over the past several months has been shredded into mulch and will be given away free Saturday and April 20.

Mulch will be available for pick up from 8 a.m. to noon, or until the supply runs out, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limit is one pickup truck load per person.

Mulch can be picked up at the former city landfill, 1631 Old Frankfort Pike. Enter through the gate of the former landfill and leave on Jimmie Campbell Drive. Signs will guide you to the pick-up area.
