Motorcyclist killed in collision with car in Pulaski County; driver charged with murder

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car Monday night in Pulaski County, and the driver was charged with murder and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Jacob Ebenstein, 19, of Eubank in Pulaski County, died at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, the Pulaski County Sheriff's office said in a news release.

William S. Wesley, 40, of Science Hill, was driving east on Ky. 635 when he crossed into the westbound lane colliding with Ebenstein's motorcycle, the news release said.

Wesley was arrested at the scene and charged with first-offense DUI, according to the news release.

The sheriff's office confirmed Monday afternoon that Wesley also has been charged with

murder.
