Police search for man with dementia lost in Lexington

Police are looking for an 81-year-old man with dementia who lost contact with his wife on as they traveled the interstate in two cars in Lexington.

A Golden Alert, so named to call attention to an intensive search for an older person, was issued for Daniel Sebacher of Missouri who was following his wife when they reached the split of interstates 64 and 75 about 5 p.m. Thursday. She didn't see him again.

His wife pulled over in Winchester and waited, but she has not heard from him. He does not have a cell phone, but he has her cell phone number taped to his dashboard.

The two were going to Maryland to which they were moving, police said in a news release.

Sebacher is 5'9", 160 lbs. with gray hair, blue eyes, and no facial hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a blue plaid shirt with short sleeves.

He was driving a Charcoal gray 2004 Ford Focus station wagon with Missouri tags PA2K8V. The back of the station wagon is full of clothing and household goods, police said.
