Police: No arrests in Lexington shooting

No arrests have been made in the Friday night shooting of a man on Devonia Avenue, Lexington police said Saturday.

The man, whom police would not identify, was shot several times. He was shot through the screen of a front door at a home on Devonia Avenue, which runs between North Limestone and Bryan Avenue, police said.

Police received the report of the shooting at 235 Devonia about 10:20 p.m., police Lt. Hunter Faulconer said Friday night.

The victim is in his 40s. His condition was unavailable Saturday.

Police were searching for two suspects who fled the home on foot toward Limestone, Faulconer said. The two men were about 6-foot tall.

The shooter was wearing a white shirt, khaki pants and a black bandanna, Faulconer said. The second male was dressed in all black.
