Body found at Lindsey Wilson College identified as student

A man whose body was found Tuesday on Lindsey Wilson College's campus has been identified as student Jamison Stephens, 25, of Russell County, Adair County Coroner Todd Akin said.

Stephens' body was in the back seat of his black Dodge pickup for as long as five days before his body was discovered, Akin said.

Akin said Stephens' death was not a homicide.

Toxicology results will reveal whether alcohol was involved, but results could take five to six weeks.

Stephens had not been reported missing when his truck was found at the unoccupied Grider Apartments, a complex for Lindsey Wilson students.

After complaints of a smell, a groundskeeper discovered Stephens' body, Akin said.

Stephens regularly commuted from his home, Akin said.
