2016 is off and running with cloudy and cold conditions across Central and Eastern Kentucky, according to WKYT meteorologist Chris Bailey. This air is typical for this time of year, but signs of colder air are showing up over the next few weeks.
The year begins with some flurries and temps dropping into the upper 20s and low 30s. From there, we find a tranquil weekend taking shape before another cold front drops in from the north.
