Showers will be numerous to start the day, but will become more scattered Friday afternoon as highs hit the 50s, according to WKYT chief meteorologist Chris Bailey.
Saturday will bring heavy rain and wind until temperatures drop as a front moves through the region. Precipitation will turn to light snow with some accumulations possible Sunday.
