School plans its spring fling

Basics, fun projects part of sewing class

Jessamine County Family and Consumer Science will present ”Come Sew With Us,“ a series of sewing classes beginning Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Agricultural Learning Center at City/County Park, Nicholasville. Projects will include purse, pouch, pocket, fat-quarter jacket, sewing machine and serger basics, and sewing for children. Support for dementia caregivers

The Hospice of the Bluegrass Caregivers Support Group will meet 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wilmore Senior Community Center at Wesley Village on Lexington Road in Wilmore. Hospices offers help for survivors

Hospice of the Bluegrass, Jessamine County will host a Spouse Support Group at 10 a.m. on Saturdays through March 29 at 109 Shannon Parkway, Nicholasville. Disc golf league play starts Monday

■ Nicholasville/Jessamine County Parks and Recreation will kick off disc golf league play at 6 p.m. Monday at Lake Mingo Park in Nicholasville. The cost is $2 a week. Women and children play free. Art show features works from Asbury

A group art show by Asbury College students and alumni will run through March 22 at the Art Depository, 106 East Maple Street, Nicholasville.
