Bird watching by horseback returns

The second annual ”Birdwatching By Horseback“ is about to begin at Asbury Equine Center in Wilmore.

The birdwatching trail rides will be 9 a.m. to noon daily the week of March 17-22. Bring binoculars, wear long pants and sturdy shoes.

The registration deadline for spring session programs at the Jessamine County YMCA is Thursday. Programs include: swim lessons for ages 6 months to 12 years; a basketball clinic for ages kindergarten to 5th grade; soccer for 3-year-olds; pre-gymnastics for ages 3 to 12; Pilates for age 16 and older; Tae-Kwon Do for ages 8 and older; and Tai Chi for age 18 and older.
