Library book sale goes to March 31

The Friends of the Library will hold a Book Sale Bonanza during regular library hours today through March 31 at the Woodford County Library, 115 North Main Street. All books will cost 25 cents. Call (859) 873-5191.

Humane Society extends hours

Audiobooks process explained

Learn how to download audiobooks and other digital media using Kentucky Libraries Unbound in a free class at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 24 at the Woodford County Library, 115 North Main Street. Registration is required. Call (859) 873-5191.

Growing heirloom tomatoes

Woodford football team fund-raiser

Take care of your yard and support the Woodford County High School football team at the same time. To raise money for travel expenses not covered by state funds, the team is selling bagged Black Platinum hardwood mulch for $4 per bag, which covers 20 square feet and contains no fillers. For an additional $1 per bag, the team will also spread the mulch. Delivery is free. Orders must be placed by March 26 with delivery scheduled for Saturdays, April 12 and 19.
