■ Ongoing Kindermusik classes at ArtWorks. For more information or to register, call Kim at (859) 552-4655.

■ Extruding Clay, taught by ArtWorks clay instructors from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Make vases, mugs, planters or fantasy items. This class is geared towards teens and adults, but homeschoolers 8 and older are welcome, $75. No experience necessary. To register call by Friday.

■ Paint-a-Pot, taught by Janis AtLee. from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, is an opportunity to create gifts and learn at the same time. This class will offer all ages and all experience levels an opportunity to expand their knowledge of glazes. Class fee is $15 plus cost of bisqueware ($2 to $10). Register by Friday.

At the library

The following items are from the Scott County Public Library, 104 South Bradford Lane, Georgetown. Call (502) 863-35669.

■ John Snell will provide a Camera and Photography Clinic at the library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The clinic will cover a wide range of topics, including equipment, exposure, composition, ”seeing“ pictures, etc. Focus will be mainly on digital photography, although many of the concepts will also apply to film photography. The program will also include a few photo editing tips and slide shows with music. Registration is required. A box lunch may be ordered for $5.50. Visit the library or call to register. Box lunches must be purchased by Friday.

■ The Scott County ­Genealogical Society provides one-on-one assistance with genealogical research from 1 to 3 p.m. each Thursday at the library. Visit or call Tom Beatty at (502) 316-5654.

■ The Library will be closed Sunday for Easter. It will reopen Monday.
