■ Extruding Clay, taught by ArtWorks clay instructors from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Make vases, mugs, planters or fantasy items. This class is geared towards teens and adults, but homeschoolers 8 and older are welcome, $75. No experience necessary. To register call by Friday.
■ Paint-a-Pot, taught by Janis AtLee. from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, is an opportunity to create gifts and learn at the same time. This class will offer all ages and all experience levels an opportunity to expand their knowledge of glazes. Class fee is $15 plus cost of bisqueware ($2 to $10). Register by Friday.

■ John Snell will provide a Camera and Photography Clinic at the library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The clinic will cover a wide range of topics, including equipment, exposure, composition, ”seeing“ pictures, etc. Focus will be mainly on digital photography, although many of the concepts will also apply to film photography. The program will also include a few photo editing tips and slide shows with music. Registration is required. A box lunch may be ordered for $5.50. Visit the library or call to register. Box lunches must be purchased by Friday.
