■ Kenwick Community ­Center, 313 Owsley Avenue, Lexington, will hold an ­Easter egg hunt for children 12 and younger at 6 p.m. Call (859) 266-6405.


■ Bluegrass Heritage Museum, 217 South Main Street, Winchester, will host a community egg hunt at 10 a.m.

■ The Nicholasville egg hunt will be at 10 a.m. at Rock Fence Park, Third and Oak streets. Call (859) 881-3820.

■ Scott County Parks and Recreation will host a community egg hunt at 10 a.m. at Scott County Park, Cincinnati Pike, Georgetown. Call (502) 863-7865.

■ Richmond Parks and Recreation Department will host Easter activities from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Irvine McDowell Park on Lancaster Avenue in Richmond. The event will include a visit by the Easter Bunny, inflatables and a petting zoo.

■ Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park, 10299 Maysville Road (U.S. 68), in Robertson County, will hold a hunt for children 12 and younger at 11 a.m. in front of the Pioneer Museum. Call (859) 289-5507 or 1-800-443-7008.

■ Winburn Community Center, Lexington, will hold an Easter egg hunt for children 13 and younger at 12:30 p.m. Call (859) 294-4362.

■ Old Fort Harrod State Park, 100 South College Street, Harrodsburg, will hold an Easter event at noon. There will be pictures with the Easter Bunny, discounted admission rates, treats and games. Call (859) 734-9614.

■ Millville Community Center, McCracken Pike, Montgomery County, will host an egg hunt for children 12 and younger at 1 p.m.Call (859) 873-2222.

■ Wilmore's annual egg hunt will be 1 p.m. at Centennial Park, behind the Ichthus Grounds. Enter the park from Kinlaw Drive off Ky. 1268. The Easter Bunny will visit, and there will be games and activities. Call (859) 858-9031.

■ Food City will hold a puppet show at 1 p.m. and an egg hunt at 2 p.m. at Mountain HomePlace, Ky. 2275, Staffordsville, at the entrance to Paintsville Lake State Resort Park.

■ For the Love of Dogs Bakery, 113 Clay Avenue, Lexington, will host a doggie Easter egg hunt and a blessing of the animals at 2 p.m. Eggs will be filled with gourmet treats. All dogs must be on leashes. Call (859) 233-3647.

Saturday, Sunday

■ Fort Boonesboro State Park, 4375 Boonesboro Road, Madison County, will host activities Saturday and Sunday. There will be free miniature golf, bingo, historic tours, a camper-decorating contest, Easter crafts, an egg hunt, a free continental breakfast and photos with the Easter Bunny. ■ Kentucky's 17 state resort park restaurants will serve Easter buffets from noon to 8 p.m.There will be roast beef, country ham, roast leg of spring lamb, golden fried catfish, garden vegetables and more. ■ Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, 7351 Ky. 90, near Corbin, will hold an egg hunt for children 10 and younger at 2:30 p.m. behind the community pool. Call (606) 528-4121.

■ The Patchen House, 153 Patchen Drive, Lexington, will host a parade at 2 p.m. An egg hunt with cash prizes and a chance to win a University of Kentucky basketball jersey signed by Jared Prickett will follow.
