The first April in Paris Spring Gala will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, at the Wallis House, 616 Pleasant Street in Paris. The evening will include live and silent auctions. Kentucky Derby winning jockey Chris McCarron will join Affirmed's Triple Crown winning rider Steve Cauthen as guests at the fourth annual Hopewell Win, Place or Show Derby Party at McConnell's Auction House, 1833 South Main Street in Paris, from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds benefit the Hopewell Museum in Paris.
