YMCA holds Pilates classes through July

The Paris-Bourbon County YMCA, 917 Main Street in Paris, will hold the following Pilates classes on Monday evenings June 30 through July 21

■ Beginning level from 6 to 6:45 p.m. with a fee of $20 for members or $40 for non-members.

■ Intermediate level 7-8 p.m. with a fee of $25 for members or $45 for non-members.

Memorial softball tournament

The Paris Police Department will host a softball tournament in memory of Wesley Mullins, with the first games starting at 9 a.m. on June 28 and 29 at Garrard Park in Paris.

The tournament will include police, fire and EMS personnel only, at a cost of $100 per team.

School reunion

The Ruddles Mills Consolidated School reunion will be held from 5-7 p.m. on June 28 at Biankes Restaurant at the corner of Main and Pleasant in Cynthiana. Dinner will be at 6 p.m.

1921-'49 reunion

The old Bourbon County High and Millersburg School 1921-1949 reunion will be held starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Millersburg Community Center. Dinner catered by Mary Lou Rankin and Betty Stanfield will be at 6 p.m.

Golf tournament

The second annual Paris Kiwanis golf tournament will be held on Saturday at Shady Brook Golf Course on Hutchison Road in Paris. The proceeds will provide scholarships and other Kiwanis programs.

The cost of $60 per individual or $200 for a corporate team includes a golf cart and meal.

The Paris-Bourbon County Library at 701 High Street in Paris will offer the following shows for children in June.

Art exhibit

”Harlan Hubbard: A Life in the Landscape,“ an exhibit of over 50 paintings and wood cuts by the Kentucky artist and author will be on display at the Hopewell Museum, 800 Pleasant Street in Paris, until June 29.

Original photographs of the Hubbards by Lexington photographer Guy Mendes are also on loan for this show. Meg Shaw, art librarian of the University of Kentucky Lucille Little Fine Arts Library, is the guest curator.
