Love is elected to state chamber board
The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce has elected Kathy Love, chief executive officer of Bluegrass Community Hospital in Versailles, to serve on its 60-member board of directors. Love also serves as chairwoman of the United Way of Woodford County, she is chairwoman-elect of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Foundation, and she is a board member of Bluegrass Tomorrow and the Woodford County Theatrical Arts Association. She is past chairwoman of the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce and the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program.

Honored for 61 years in Kiwanis
The Versailles Kiwanis Club and Kiwanis International recently presented Howard Montague, 97, with the Kiwanis International Hixson Award for 61 years of charter membership in the Versailles Kiwanis Club. Presenting the award was Ken Reed, president of the Versailles club. The award was created by the International Trustees in memory of George F. Hixson, the first international president and the only one to serve two terms. Montague is the first Versailles Kiwanis Club member to receive the Hixson Award.
