Lead singer for Crossover performs in Clark County

Teenrock concert

Bill Ballenger, lead singer of the band Crossover, performed for more than 1,100 Clark County teens at the Teenrock concert Feb. 5. Ballenger designed the Teenrock program to encourage teens to make good choices and avoid bad ones. Ballenger and his wife of 22 years, Jodie, both battled drug addiction and had to face losing their daughter, Mindy, in addition to a two-year prison stay.

The Thursday night crowd also saw performances by the youth drama team Carcass. The band and the drama team spent the day reaching out to young people in two Clark County middle schools and the high school.
