■ Pvt. Alexander J. Arnold, 20, of Lexington graduated from the U.S. Marine Corps boot camp at Parris Island, S.C., on May 7. Arnold completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot as one of 33 recruits in Training Platoon 3034. During his training, Arnold achieved the top rifle qualification score for his company of 400 men. After 10 days home on leave, he reported to Camp Geiger for nine weeks of infantry training. He graduated from the School of Infantry on July 16 and was placed in Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines at Camp Lejeune, N.C. Arnold is the son of Susan and Dr. Bill Arnold of Lexington.
■ Air Force Airman Corey E. Evans graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Janet Evans of Lexington and is a 2009 graduate of Tates Creek High School, Lexington.
■ Air National Guard Airman Randi N. Eitzman graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the niece of Ondria Tucker of Lexington.

■ Army Pfc. James M. Dingle has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Terri Dingle of Nicholasville. Dingle is a 2007 graduate of East Jessamine High School.
