The walk, which runs along Main Street, features 50 noteworthy horses associated with Bourbon County farms.
Nominations are due by May 1. They can be sponsored by a farm, an organization or a person.
The cost of nomination is $150 and includes the horse's shoes embedded in cement and a brass plaque with the horse's name, birth and death year (if applicable), its major distinction and the farm's name. Horses of distinction from all breeds are welcome to apply.
The 2011 class will be inducted at this year's Secretariat Festival on Sept. 24. There will be a preview party and reception the evening before at Oasis during the Paris Artwalk.
