Toyota honors volunteers

Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky announced its top five volunteers of the year recently in Lexington. Pictured are J.P. Switzer, left, of Cynthiana; James Arnold, Paris; Dorothy McManigle, Lexington; Pat Malesick, Georgetown; and Kenny Merritt, Berea. McManigle was named the company's volunteer of the year. All are members of Toyota's Volunteers-In-Place program, which was developed in 1994 to encourage and recognize employee volunteer work in the community. In honor of the employees' volunteer efforts, TMMK made donations to specific non-profit organizations named by each member of the top five.
