George Rogers Clark High School to host Freedom Concert

SerendipiTea benefits homeless

The 2011 SerendipiTea will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Colonel's Lady Tea Room, 39 South Main Street, Winchester. Brunch will be served, and there will be an auction and raffle. Tickets are $25, and proceeds benefit the Clark County Homeless Coalition. Call (859) 749-3198.

Museum hosts trolley/bus tours

The Bluegrass Heritage Museum, 217 South Main Street, Winchester, will have trolley/bus tours on Tuesdays in October. A bus will leave the museum at 5:30 p.m. and travel to historical places. The cost is $10 for all tours except for the first tour, which is $16 and includes a box supper. To make reservations, call the museum at (859) 745-1358. Seating is limited.

Tuesday's tour to the Iroquois Hunt Club will be led by Joan Mayer, past master of the foxhounds. The Oct. 11 tour of the Old Providence Church, also known as The Old Stone Church, will be led by Sandra Stults, museum director.
