The Kentucky School for the Deaf (KSD) Christmas Tea and Tour will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday in Danville. Cost is $15. Children under 5 are free. Alumni will tell the story of the school at historic Jacobs Hall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Refreshments and cider will be served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the Jacobs Hall Museum gift shop will be open with the 2012 calendar, JHM ornament, cards and more. Music by the Danville Dulcimers and KSD American Sign Language Choir and others will be performed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Buildings on the tour include: Jacobs Hall, 303 South Second Street; Old Centre, 625 West Walnut; Jo Ann and Tim Rice, 4221 Perryville Road; Linda and Greg Barnard, 229 East Lexington Avenue; Sue and John Ferguson, 114 West Lexington Avenue; Laura and Eph Helton, 157 St. Mildred's Court; and Willis Russell House (1790s log house), 200 East Walnut Avenue.
