The Jessamine County Animal Shelter has posted a wish list of items it is seeking to continue to provide animal care and day-to-day operations. Get help to stop smoking
The Jessamine County Health Department will offer free Cooper/Clayton smoking-cessation classes starting Jan. 3. Cooper/Clayton is a science-based program that uses proven methods including education, skills training and social support. Nicotine-replacement therapy is provided for registered participants at no charge. The class will meet for approximately 45 minutes once a week for 12 weeks at the health department office at 215 East Maple Street.
