Army National Guard Pvt. Shannah C. Gardiner has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.

Gardiner, who earned distinction as an honor graduate, is the daughter of Duncan Gardiner of Versailles. She is a 2011 graduate of Woodford County High School.
