Jessamine County: Veterans Day at Camp Nelson Cemetery

Bloodmobile at Wilmore Free Methodist Church

The Kentucky Blood Center will hold a mobile blood drive from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Wilmore Free Methodist Church, 1200 Lexington Road. If you are in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds, have a photo I.D. and are at least 17 years old, you could be a life-saving blood donor. Archery instructor training

Learn how you can become an archery instructor with a certification to coach in the public schools from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at Providence Activity Center, 180 Computrex Drive, Nicholasville. This basic archery instruction class is recognized by the National Archery in the Schools Program. The class will be led by Patrick O'Connell, state archery coordinator for the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. The cost is $80 and includes training materials.
